Put a small art project back in order using four pictures. This printable has two stories: a tulip picture going from blank paper to a framed drawing, and a rocket collage gaining its parts. Each story has four ready-colored cards in a shuffled cutting sheet. A separate answer page shows the two intended sequences.

Print and Cut One Story at a Time
The card-only file has two sheets, one per story. Each sheet has four 82 by 92 mm cards at actual size, joined in a two-by-two cutting grid. Trim the outside rectangle, then cut the one horizontal and one vertical interior line. No curved cutting is needed.

Letters A to D identify the cards in the answer guide; they are not the story order. Mix one story at a time and keep its four cards together. You can use the answers on a screen rather than print the third page.
Order the Tulip Picture
Look for the blank sheet first. Next comes the same paper with the tulip outline. After that, the flower and leaves are colored. The final picture has a frame around it. Spread the four cards left to right and talk about what has been added between each one.

If two cards seem similar, look at the petals and leaves, then at the paper edge. Coloring and framing are different changes. Ask which picture would come before the other rather than requiring particular words such as first, next or finally.
Order the Rocket Collage
The second story starts with blank backing paper. The next picture adds the rocket body and two fins. A window and flame appear after that, and the pointed nose completes the final picture. The background and main parts remain in place across the story.
These are pictures for sequencing and conversation. No real scissors, glue or rocket parts are needed after the adult prepares the four cards. They are not an instruction sheet for making a working rocket.
Check and Tell the Story
When the four cards are arranged, compare their letters with the answer row for that story. The guide shows a small copy of every stage as well as its number and card letter. If the order differs, return to the visible additions and see which object is already present.
After checking, invite a short retelling: what was on the paper at the beginning, what changed, and how it ended. You can begin with only the first and last card, then add the middle two. The task has no timer and does not require reading.
Keep the Two Sets Together
Print on suitable card stock or mount the whole uncut sheet on plain card before cutting. Let mounted sheets dry flat. The complete pack has three pages, with the answer guide after the two card sheets. Store each story as its own four-card group so a missing card is easy to notice.
