Look over a craft tabletop and a tray of collage supplies to find six changes in each picture pair. These two printable puzzles use clear shapes, object counts and small details, with circled answer pages kept separate. Print a page and take turns comparing picture A with picture B; no craft project needs to be assembled.

Print a Puzzle and Keep the Answers Aside
Choose A4 or US Letter for your paper and print in portrait orientation. Use actual size / 100% for the intended layout. The complete four-page PDF contains two activity pages followed by their two answer pages. The activities-only file has both puzzles; the answers-only file has both solutions. Choose the complete file or the separate files, so you do not print duplicates.
Give the child a pencil and one activity sheet. Each page has picture A above picture B. Find six changed places and circle them in B. Nothing needs to be cut out or assembled. Work directly on the printed sheet, or point to each change together if you would rather leave the page unmarked.
Puzzle One: the Paper-and-pencil Tabletop
A broad cream work surface holds a ruler and green ribbon loop toward the back, with a pencil cup in the upper right. Across the front are crayons, a pink circle, a glue stick and a square sticker backing with a yellow star. The objects are spaced apart so you can compare one place at a time.

Try a first pass across the front row from left to right. Then look at the ruler and ribbon near the back edge. The pencil cup stays in place and is not one of the six targets. For a small hint, ask how many crayons appear in each picture rather than immediately naming the missing one.
Puzzle Two: the Collage Supply Trays
The second scene organizes the supplies into six cream compartments. Three crayons, a pink circle and a glue stick occupy the top row in A. The star sticker, ruler and green ribbon loop sit in the lower row. The trays give a clear place to begin: compare the upper left compartment in A with the upper left compartment in B, then move across.

This puzzle uses the same six kinds of changes as the tabletop, arranged differently. The change that was near the back of the table may be on the lower row of the tray. Ask the child to follow each object to its matching compartment rather than remembering a location from the first puzzle.
Answers: Count and Shape Changes
Both puzzles use these six changes from A to B. The answer sheets circle each changed region in B and use the following numbers:

- Three crayons become two.
- The pink paper circle becomes a star.
- The glue stick’s rounded cap becomes a square-topped cap.
- The yellow star sticker becomes a pink heart sticker.
- The ruler has two holes instead of one.
- The green ribbon loop becomes a bow shape.
On the tabletop, answers 1–4 cross the front row, with 5 and 6 toward the back. In the tray puzzle, 1–3 cross the top row and 4–6 cross the bottom row. Count the changed region once even when its color and outline both change, as with the heart sticker. If one answer is still missing, compare the cap outline and ruler holes after checking the larger shapes.
Make the Search Manageable
Offer one puzzle at a time and let the child circle changes in B with a pencil. You can cover part of the page with scrap paper and compare only two matching areas first. For shared play, take turns pointing to an object and describing what changed.

Keep the solutions aside until you want to check. Six circled regions complete each puzzle; the answer numbers identify places to compare rather than an order the child must follow. Save an unmarked copy if you want another turn later.
