A cow, pig, sheep, goat, hen, duck, pony and donkey are ready for a little coloring time. Each farm animal has its own black-and-white page and a large outlined name that can be colored too. Choose one favorite, print all eight, or keep a few different animals ready for a farm-themed table. No cutting or assembly is needed.

Cow Coloring Page
Try different colors inside the outlined patches, then color the broad body around them. The horns, ears and hooves provide smaller finishing shapes.

Pig Coloring Page
Color the round snout separately from the face. The seated body has broad open areas, with a small curly tail at the side.

Sheep Coloring Page
Give the scalloped wool a single color or a soft repeating pattern. The face and four short legs can have a different shade.

Goat Coloring Page
The curved horns and small beard distinguish this goat from the sheep. Color the body first if the finer face details feel fiddly.

Hen Coloring Page
Choose colors for the feathers, comb and eggs. The two eggs sit beside the hen, rather than forming separate pictures to cut out.

Duck Coloring Page
Color the broad bill and webbed feet, then add a water color to the small puddle. More water can be drawn in the spare space if desired.

Pony Coloring Page
The mane and long tail offer sweeping shapes to color. Choose one body color or add your own markings.

Donkey Coloring Page
Look at the long ears, short upright mane and tail tuft. Leave the small eye details as printed while coloring the larger head and body.

Meet the Eight Farm Animals
The cow has outlined patches and short horns; the pig has a broad snout and a curly tail. The sheep has a scalloped woolly coat, while the goat has curved horns and a small beard. These details give children different shapes and areas to color rather than eight copies of one animal body.
The hen stands beside two eggs, and the duck has a small puddle. The pony has a flowing mane and tail; the donkey has long ears and a short upright mane. These are friendly cartoon pictures for coloring, rather than diagrams for identifying breeds.
Choose One Picture or a Small Group
For a quick activity, put out one page with crayons or colored pencils. There is no required color scheme: the outlined patches on the cow can be any color, and the sheep can have a patterned coat. Leave small face details as they are if filling them feels fiddly.
For a shared table, offer several different animals and let each child choose. After coloring, display the pages together, or invite children to draw a fence, a field or an imaginary home in the surrounding white space. The backgrounds do not need to be finished before the pictures feel complete.
Print the Animal You Want
The complete file contains eight coloring pages with no extra cover. Individual animal files each contain one page. A4 and US Letter show the same pictures; select the size that matches the paper in your printer. Fit to printable area is suitable because these pictures do not depend on an exact measurement.
Use ordinary white paper and check the print preview for a complete animal, visible ears and feet, and the whole outlined name. A black-and-white printer is enough. If using markers, put spare paper underneath and choose paper appropriate for those pens.
You may print these files for personal, family and classroom activities. Share this resource page with another adult rather than selling or rehosting the PDFs.
