Ladybug and Leaf
The ladybug is seen from above, with two outlined wing shells, large hollow spots, two antennae and three legs on each side. A small leaf sits below it. Colour the broad shell areas first, then choose shades for the spots and leaf. The spots stay open rather than being solid black, leaving room for your own pattern.

Butterfly with Open Wings
Four broad wing shapes spread around the butterfly's slim body. Each wing has a large inner section, so children can use two colours without needing to fill many tiny shapes. Repeat colours on the two sides or make every wing different. The two antennae and round face remain separate from the larger coloring spaces.

Bumblebee Beside a Flower
The bee faces upward with four wings spread around its striped body. Six bent legs end in clear rounded feet, three on each side, and a small flower stands separately at the lower right. The stripe bands are white spaces to color. Try alternating two shades, then give the flower a different colour or leave some shapes white.

Caterpillar on a Twig
The caterpillar's joined round body sections stretch along a short twig. Small feet rest below the body, and a pair of simple antennae rises above the face. A few leaves hang beneath the twig. Colour the segments in a repeating sequence or use one shade for the whole caterpillar; no numbered colour key is required.

Ant Next to a Seed
The ant is shown from above with three connected body sections, two antennae and six legs extending from the middle section. One large seed rests beside it. The body offers three clear areas to color, while the bent legs make narrower shapes for a pencil. The seed can have its own colour without needing a full garden background.

Snail Resting on a Leaf
A broad leaf supports the snail's long body and large spiral shell. Two long eye stalks and smaller feelers extend from its face. Follow the broad spiral inside the shell with one colour or choose different shades around it. The leaf has just a few large divisions, making a separate space to colour beside the shell.

Dragonfly with Four Wings
The dragonfly has two pairs of long open wings, an oval middle section and a narrow segmented body. Six short legs sit close to the middle. The wings are mostly open white spaces, while the body segments offer smaller areas. Choose a separate wing colour or leave the wings white and color the body instead.

Grasshopper on a Stem
The grasshopper stands on a thin stem with two long antennae and large angular back legs. Four smaller walking legs complete its six-leg shape. The long body and folded wing area differ from the butterfly's wide open wings. Colour the broad body first, then take a pencil to the narrow antennae, stem and bent leg shapes if desired.

Print a Favorite or All Eight
The complete PDF contains eight coloring pages, with no extra cover. Each separate download contains just one named picture. Choose the A4 or US Letter file matching your printer paper and use portrait orientation. Fit to printable area is suitable because these pages need no exact physical measurements.
A black-and-white printer is enough. Check the first print for the complete outlined name and the outermost antennae, wing tips and feet. Use ordinary paper with crayons or coloured pencils. If using markers, place spare paper underneath to protect the table.
Make a Small Garden Coloring Activity
Offer one picture for a quiet moment or set out a choice of two, such as the snail's large spiral and the butterfly's broad wings. A shared table can have several different garden visitors ready to choose. There is no need to finish every small detail or use realistic colours.
Keep finished pages whole for a folder or display. Children may leave the background empty or add their own garden shapes around the drawing. Reprint an individual favourite for another session rather than making an extra complete set; the eight single-page files make that choice straightforward.
You may print these files for personal, family and classroom activities. Share this resource page rather than selling or rehosting the PDFs.
