Complete four front-facing half pictures: cat, dog, rabbit and a hamster. Each activity prints the left side and leaves the right side for drawing. The dotted vertical line is the mirror axis. A separate four-page answer file shows the completed reflection for each picture in the same order.
Use the Dotted Line as Your Mirror
Print the Half Pictures file for the activity and keep Mirror Answers as a separate reference. Begin with the large outside shape. Choose a point on the printed side, notice its height and distance from the center line, and place the matching point at the same height and distance on the right. Join several matching points to build the missing curve or edge.
Work outwards from features that meet the center line. A nose, circle, roof point or body division on that line may be only half printed. Finish its missing half rather than drawing a second whole feature beside it. Use a pencil so you can adjust spacing before coloring.
Cat
Complete the face from its center outward, matching the cheek and pointed ear to the left-hand example. Copy the eye at the same height and distance from the guide before adding the remaining small facial lines. The nose and mouth meet the center guide, so complete their missing halves rather than drawing another nose beside it. Use the answer to compare the ear tips.
Dog
Look at the broad cheek and floppy ear before drawing the missing side. Their curves differ from the pointed ears on the cat sheet. Place the second eye level with the first, then complete the muzzle from the central nose. Keep the mouth joined to that center. Match any small inner-ear or cheek detail only after the main head shape is in place.
Rabbit
The long upright ear makes this the tallest face in the set. Match its height before working down around the cheek. Complete the eye, inner ear and small muzzle details at their reflected positions. The center of the nose is the reference for the face, so keep the missing half joined there. Avoid widening the head just to make room for the ear.
Hamster
Copy the small rounded ear and broad cheek before adding the face details. Match the eye with its partner, then complete the nose, whisker area and visible front teeth around the center. The teeth help distinguish this face from the bear-like round shapes used in some other crafts. Keep those small central details joined instead of giving the hamster two separate muzzles.
Compare the Finished Reflection
Once the outside is complete, copy the smaller interior marks. Check each mark against its own partner: height first, distance from the center second, and the direction of any sloping line last. Reflection reverses left and right. A diagonal on the left will slope the other way on the right when both lean toward the center.
Use the corresponding answer page to compare your result. It shows one whole picture made from the same left half, including the interior decoration. You can color after completing the drawing; matching colors on both sides is optional. The complete PDF contains all eight pages, with the four half pictures first and their four answers after them. Print only the activity pages when you want to keep the answers aside.
