Look at the two toy shelves on each page and find five changes. A teddy disappears, another toy takes a familiar place, and the rest of the shelf stays the same. This free printable has two different puzzles, with the answers in a separate download so you can keep them aside until needed.
The pictures are already colored. This is a looking-and-circling activity rather than a coloring sheet, and there are no pieces to cut out. Choose A4 or US Letter, print a puzzle page, and put out a pencil.

The puzzle-only PDF contains two pages, one puzzle per page. Each page shows shelf A above shelf B. There are exactly five changed places on shelf B: some toys are missing and others have been replaced by a different toy. A replacement counts as one changed place, even though you can name both the old toy and the new one.

Start with the First Toy Shelf
Take a moment to name the toys together before looking for changes. The shelf includes a teddy bear, toy train, beach ball, kite, sailboat, drum, car, rocking horse, stacking rings, bucket, spinning top and rubber duck. Knowing what each picture shows gives you a simple way to talk about a changed place.
Compare one shelf row at a time. Look at the first toy in A, find the same place in B, and decide whether it is the same. If it has changed, circle that place on B. Work along the row before moving down, rather than trying to remember the whole picture at once.
For a child who would like a hint, point to one row and ask which toy is different. You can also cover the lower rows with a spare sheet while comparing the top row. A missing toy leaves an empty place: that space is an answer too.
Try the Second Puzzle
The second page uses the same familiar shelf but changes a different set of five places. Give it a fresh look instead of reusing the first page's answers. The picture order makes it easy to compare the corresponding positions directly; the challenge is noticing what is absent or has been swapped.

One child can work alone, or two people can take turns finding one change each. After circling a place, say what changed before the next person starts. Stop when you have five, then check the separate answer page together.
Print and Check the Answers
Match the PDF to your paper and print in portrait orientation. Fit to printable area is suitable because this game does not depend on an exact physical measurement. The artwork is in color, but none of the five answers depends only on noticing a color change. Missing objects and different toy shapes remain the clues.

If a page looks too small on your screen, open the PDF at a comfortable zoom before choosing what to print. On paper, the two shelves each span about 18 cm across at actual size. Keep the sheet whole so the upper and lower shelf positions stay aligned.
The answer file is for checking, not an extra activity page. You do not need to print it to play: an adult can open it separately after the five changes have been found. You may print these files for personal, family or classroom activities. Share this resource page with someone else rather than selling or rehosting the PDFs.
