Complete four front-facing half pictures: robot, rocket, block tower and a kite. Each activity prints the left side and leaves the right side for drawing. The dotted vertical line is the mirror axis. A separate four-page answer file shows the completed reflection for each picture in the same order.
Use the Dotted Line as Your Mirror
Print the Half Pictures file for the activity and keep Mirror Answers as a separate reference. Begin with the large outside shape. Choose a point on the printed side, notice its height and distance from the center line, and place the matching point at the same height and distance on the right. Join several matching points to build the missing curve or edge.
Work outwards from features that meet the center line. A nose, circle, roof point or body division on that line may be only half printed. Finish its missing half rather than drawing a second whole feature beside it. Use a pencil so you can adjust spacing before coloring.
Robot
Use the box-shaped head and body as anchors. Complete the short neck between them, then the arm and foot on the right. The round eye and body button need matching partners at the same distance from the axis. Finish the mouth and top antenna at the center. Check the small arm connector so the arm does not float away from the body.

Rocket
The nose point lies on the dotted axis. Bring the missing sloping edge down from that point, then copy the tall side and projecting fin. The window crosses the center, so draw only its missing half rather than adding a second full circle. Continue the lower band and match the short exhaust lines beneath it to finish the front-facing rocket.

Block Tower
This tower has three rectangular levels, each narrower than the one below. Complete their right edges at the same heights as the left, then mirror the pointed roof at the top. The round mark in the bottom block needs a partner on the right. Check the horizontal ledges between levels; they should remain level across the center rather than becoming diagonal joins.

Kite
Start at the upper point and complete the diamond's right edge down to the lower point. Continue the horizontal cross through the center. The tail runs straight down the axis with one half of a bow on the left; add the matching triangle on the right. Keep that bow outside the main diamond. The finished toy is deliberately drawn straight-on.

Compare the Finished Reflection
Once the outside is complete, copy the smaller interior marks. Check each mark against its own partner: height first, distance from the center second, and the direction of any sloping line last. Reflection reverses left and right. A diagonal on the left will slope the other way on the right when both lean toward the center.
Use the corresponding answer page to compare your result. It shows one whole picture made from the same left half, including the interior decoration. You can color after completing the drawing; matching colors on both sides is optional. The complete PDF contains all eight pages, with the four half pictures first and their four answers after them. Print only the activity pages when you want to keep the answers aside.
Download the Printables
Choose A4 (210 x 297 mm) or US Letter (8.5 x 11 inches) for the paper in your printer. The two sizes contain the same designs. The complete file repeats the separate files in one convenient PDF; it does not add extra activities.
