8 Free Vegetable Coloring Pages to Print and Color

Black-and-white printables · A4 & US Letter · No sign-up

Overview of the eight actual vegetables coloring designs.

Choose a carrot, broccoli, tomatoes, a bell pepper, a pumpkin, peas, corn or an eggplant. These free black-and-white pages show one vegetable or small group per sheet, with large outline names to color. The pictures range from smooth open bodies to rows of kernels and rounded peas.

Use the pages for a little coloring time at home, a vegetable-themed table or a simple pretend produce display. You can print just one rather than preparing the whole collection. Paper and coloring tools are enough; no cutting or assembly is needed.

Carrot

A tapered carrot sits beneath three broad leafy fronds. Color the root and leaves separately, or choose an imaginary color for the whole vegetable. A few curved marks break up the root without filling it with tiny details.

Broccoli

The broccoli has three broad floret clusters supported by a branching stalk. The rounded top shapes have open interiors, so you can use one shade or add your own small marks. The stalk is a separate larger coloring space below.

Tomatoes

Two tomatoes overlap, each with an attached stem and leafy top. Give them matching colors or make one different from the other. The front tomato covers part of the back one, leaving a clear outline to follow around each fruit.

Bell Pepper

A bell pepper has long rounded lobes beneath a curved stem. Color the lobes together or separate them with different shades. Its tall shape offers a different picture to choose from beside the wide pumpkin in the same set.

Pumpkin

The broad pumpkin is divided by curved ribs and topped with a short thick stem. Try repeating two colors across the sections, or keep the whole pumpkin one shade. The plain background leaves room to draw a patch of ground underneath.

Peas

Large round peas sit inside one long open pod. The shell and the peas can be colored separately, with the narrow spaces between them left white if you wish. Follow the curved pod from its pointed tip to its short stem.

Corn

The corn cob has rows of large kernels and two broad husk leaves folded away at the bottom. Color the kernels in one shade or repeat a small pattern. Give the husk its own color to separate it from the cob.

Eggplant

A long smooth eggplant curves below its leafy cap and stem. Its main body is one broad open shape, with less internal detail than the corn page. Add a simple pattern if you want more to color, or leave the surface plain.

Print the Pages You Want

Open the chosen PDF in portrait orientation and match the paper size to the file. Fit to printable area is fine for these coloring pictures, because the drawings do not depend on exact measurements. Check the preview for a complete picture and visible lettering before printing.

Try one sheet on ordinary white paper before making more copies. Crayons and colored pencils need no extra preparation. If using markers, put spare paper underneath and follow the guidance for your paper and pens. The large outline name can be colored as part of the page or left plain.

Make a Small Coloring Moment

For a pretend produce table, offer a few different vegetables and let everyone choose their own picture. Arrange the finished pages side by side, with names still visible. The drawings already have their own labels, so no extra small name cards need preparing.

For a shorter activity, choose one smooth shape such as the eggplant and one divided shape such as the corn. Let the child pick between them. Someone who wants more drawing time can add soil, a basket or another vegetable in the white space; none of that is required to finish the page.
